Dr. Ralph Maughan is professor emeritus of political science at Idaho State University. He was a Western Watersheds Project Board Member off and on for many years, and was also its President for several years. For a long time he produced Ralph Maughan’s Wolf Report. He was a founder of the Greater Yellowstone Coalition. He and Jackie Johnson Maughan wrote three editions of “Hiking Idaho.” He also wrote “Beyond the Tetons” and “Backpacking Wyoming’s Teton and Washakie Wilderness.” He created and is the administrator of The Wildlife News.

Tester looked visibly upset when responding to Khoeler.

I agree, he seems more inclined to attack the messenger than address the bill’s problems.
Tester’s assertion that he had never heard from Koehler and other green groups opposed to the bill was laughable.
The more I see about this bill, the less I like it. I would urge everyone to read through the bill. Don’t just support it because it has Tester’s name or Dem sponsors.
I noticed that too. Rather than talking about the bill, Tester focused on what appeared to be a personal attack.
