Yellowstone Wolf Reintroduction – 30 Years On

Thirty years ago, this month, wolves were reintroduced into Yellowstone National Park.

The writers at WyoFile and Montana Free Press teamed up on an excellent review of the history of the event up through the present. The article has interviews with many of the people involved.

    It was a proud moment for our country – being able to look beyond ourselves and our own needs, and do the right thing. I hope this will continue and will do my damnedest to see that it does! I hope our country hasn’t lost sight of it.

    I agree, Ida – our country has lost sight of so much wilderness and wildlife and its habitat. Being able to look beyond US our our needs is something we need to do – the right thing, hopefully.
